Excellent advice and I’m a seasoned cook that always followed the clean as you go rules as that’s the way my Mom cooked. Love you recipes as well. Good luck in the future.

Hi Stephanie, I’m making vegan pasta dough, the mise is for a vegan pho (both are posts that I made when taking Rouxbe’s Plant Based Professional Course, and those are broccoli tots.) A search of “Rouxbe” will show you those posts and search of “broccoli tots” will take you to that recipe. Enjoy!

Is that a veggie tot? Even the Mise en place photo?
Do you have recipes?

It took me years to figure out that starting with a clean kitchen makes things easier! The first thing I do when starting to cook is fill my sink with hot soapy water so I can clean as I go and can wash my hands quickly. The best part of mise en place? A lot cutting can be done ahead of time and refrigerated, spices and herbs can go into small containers and labeled. Believe me, you want to label them…don’t think you’ll remember what’s in each container! Your tips make cooking fun, because by the time the meal is finished cooking the kitchen is clean and you can enjoy your meal and the rest of the evening relaxing.
