Thanks Jes! I have yet to smell anything similar come from a Dunkin Doughnuts in the Northeast to the smell from a Krispy Kreme in the South — I do miss it!

Your donuts beat Krispy Kreme any day! (Though I know exactly what you mean, I lived down the street from the factory in Atlanta…heavenly sugar smells late at night). The pistachio-cardamom on top sounds perfect!
